Leave all your worries behind when staying at The Golden Sunset! Situated on the beautiful sought after, west side of Lummi Island. Enjoy incredible views of the sea, and world renown Pacific Northwest sunsets! Kick back and soak up the sun on the west facing deck, or bbq on the gas or charcoal grill. Option to rent the cozy mother-in-law suite adjacent from the main house- Sunset Studio. Just a short walk down the street to the public beach! Mooring buoy available for guests to use.

***Please note the base price is for 4 guests for use of the main house, a fee will be charged for additional guests if you will be using the additional suite.

The living area is comfortable and cozy with ample seating for everyone. Relax while reading a book and get warm by the lovely propane fireplace.

This open concept home transitions the living and dining area perfectly into the spacious kitchen.

Gaze out at the stunning seascape while you prepare a delicious meal. The kitchen has all full-sized appliances. We supply basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.

Just down the hall you will find two bedrooms.

The first bedroom has a comfortable full-sized bed. This room also has plenty of toys, games, and craft supplies if you are bringing your little ones.

The second bedroom is spacious and has a luxurious King-sized bed to ensure a restful night of sleep.

There is a large en suite bathroom with a large tiled shower and double sinks.

High speed internet is available for guest use.

There is a washer and dryer available for guest use.

Safety features include a fire extinguisher, smoke alarm/ carbon monoxide detectors, and a first aid kit. We will also provide you with emergency evacuation information and emergency contact information.

This home also has the option to rent out The Sunset Studio next to the main house. The beautiful studio-style addition has a queen-sized bed, bathroom, and a full kitchen.

*** Please note that there is no gas station on Lummi Island and you will need to fill-up before you arrive.

*** For guests traveling between April and June, The Whatcom Chief ferry goes into dry dock for maintenance. This means that there is no substitute vehicle ferry service and the island is accessible via ferry only for foot passengers and bikes. Dry dock season typically lasts for about three weeks and exact dates are posted on the Whatcom Chief’s website. Please reach out and we can help you plan your stay!
